Recently, I saw an infocus FRONT projector displayed at Sams'club... Thats right sams club... Well it was tiny... had a great picture despite the bright lights in the store. And started me to think "outside the box"... The TV box that is.... Why do we need a TV box any way... I was in bestbuys also... and saw the sharp DT300... ED projector.... Truely amazing.... In a mear 10 ft (counted the drop ceiling pannels) the projector was able to show a 100" diagnal picture... Truely amazing.... So I am NOW starting to investigate FRONT projection TV's.... I know that is OFF Topic for this forum but I believe once you have seen one or two of the projectors... YOU might start thinking out of the box two...
What I am considering for front projections is Lumens... Wattage of the bulb... Resolution - it apepars that a lot of the projectors do not have HD resolution although they take HD signals... Weight of the unit.... Connectivity....

and you can blast it on the side of your house at night and enjoy a drive-in show. : )
