I am looking for an upconversion(not just/only progressive) dvd player that upconverts through component and has the/a faroudja chip? If anyone knows, then please help.
I'm also looking for a solid upscaling dvd player but don't know much about the technology yet. What is the faroudja chip and why is that important? Also, is an hdmi connection really that important or is component just as good?
