How can I tell if I have I stronge catv signal w/ out bring TW out. I turned on the TV the other day and found a bright, intense white push. I had to turn down the picture, and the white is washing out detail. I had an issue with lost of channels and channels on the wrong channel. I think TW cranked up my signal, when I think it was a headend issue that cleared up. But now I might have more signal than I need.
Matt, A stronger cable signal will not make your picture brighter under any possible set of circumstances in physics as we know it today. Someone just turned up the contrast or brightness on your TV.
