"Rak...If U had a switch up on roof from Dishnetwork subscription, YES U need to get rid of it and change it to a disque switch...U can place the disque switch anywhere U want between the receiver and the 2 LNB's..just cover it with a tupperware container , if left outside in the weather elements..
