What are keys used for? I read about people asking for keys. I read on my pansat 2700a that it has auto key or something like that. what do they do. Once I installed the bin file, I starting receiving channels and things seem ok. Do I need to set or change any keys for any reason?
I gave U a link in your other post, suggest U do some basic reading at one of the DSS sites..
Its a long explanation and involved...both bell and DN have a coded "key" that is required and must be programmed into your receiver to receive satellite signals from them..bins etc will not work unless U also have the correct keys..some bins will autoroll and search and locate the correct keys and input them for U..other bins, U must manually input the 32 digit "key"..
hey LK do u know the keys for nimiq 1 cause i tried the new one but cant get it to work it says scrambled and ive checked to make sure their all correct and they are but still no picture
DN has been using both key 0 and key 1 actively...but key 0 is still the predominant active key, since 14 Feb..
