Scanning Channels Ariza 500

Can someone expalin to me or tell me where I can find directions on how to scan channels with the Ariza 500. Also there is a specfic channel I want to find, it is a Los Angeles local KCAL on 119, it is channel 8007 TP 3 Freq 12253.
