New member Username: GoldiesgadgetsPost Number: 1 Registered: Feb-06 | First of all I have Comcast Cable with the Dual DVR Tuner. I just bought a Magnavox 32 inch TV. It is not HD. Model # 32MT3305/17. It has 4 rows of in and output jacks. From top to bottom they read as follows. Monitor OutVideo/L/R/Audio AV1 in/Y/Pb/Pr (no names) just yellow/white and red AV2/in Yellow/white/red S-Video I bought an Emerson DVD Recorder with Video Cassette Recorder Model # EWR20V5 It has S-video in S-video Out 2 Audio outs Video out Coaxial digital Audio Output I also have A Koss DVD Player which I don't know if I need to plug it in as well. Lastly I bought a Surround sound systems. I have 6 sets of RCA cables, 2 coaxial cables, a cable spliter,2 S-video cables and 2 Y Adapter Audio splitting cables. The cable guy came yesterday and hooked up my cable box using the AV1 jacks. Now please tell me in step by step instructions stasrting with A-Z how I set all this up. I need to know the order in which things should be hooked up to what device after the other. My goal is to be able to record my favorite TV shows to DVD and also to make up backup DVDs of my originals so they do not get ruined. I can put a computer together but this is a lot more confusing :o( I know nothing about this stuff so please walk me through it step by step from start to finish.
