Monday, February 06, 2006 - 04:04 GMT I have a dish with a dual lnb . The tech only ran one cable to the house from the dish. Is there any way to hook up a second receiver off of the one cable or do i need a second from the dish?

Monday, February 06, 2006 - 13:50 GMT Never use a splitter!...only time U can use a splitter is if U want to watch 2 TV (same channels) off of 1 receiver jack..dual LNB is called DUAL because it has 2 outputs for 2 receivers..run a cable from the 2nd output to your 2nd receiver! Dual LNB (1 eye) only receives 1 satellite signal, NOT 2! Twin LNB (2 eyes) receives 2 satellite signals with 2 outputs..
