I just got my new light engine installed today and I had changed the settings from factory, I wrote them down, but I was wondering the settings for the Red, Green, and Blue are up in the 130's but the svc manual has a default of 0. So I changed them to 0 and it seemes that the picture was not as bright but the colors still looked very good and balanced. By being on 0 will this negatively affect the set or will it put less stress on the light engine and/or bulb thereby increasing the life? Just a thought so if anybody has any answers or ideas please share.

Check in the main JVC thread starting in about October or November 2004 for the exact values (or search the thread for "drives"). My recollection is that the numbers (which are optimized differently for each set) usually fall in the 110 - 120 range.
