Missing Channels

New member Username: DishjunkiePost Number: 1 Registered: Feb-06 | Im fairly new to the whole FTA deal. But I've got an Ariza 700 reciever, and managed to get it up and working, right now i only have one dish (DishNet). The only problem I have right now, is I am missing some of the channels. Such as my PPV's i have only 4 of the many, as well as NHL Centre Ice, MLB, NFL, and the Sport channels, plus a couple more. If anybody could help me with this problem, it would be much appreciated. Silver Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 438 Registered: Jan-06 | ONE dish is fine but 2 LNB's (eyes)facing dish is needed to get 2 satellites...even then U will still lose some channels and have to do scans before each game and PPV events.. ...this is not like subscribing, there is constant maintenance (new bins, disque settings to check,scans, TP scans, etc) to this hobby.. |

channel list please Unregistered guest | Well since I see Brodie Coog got so much help maybe you can aide me. I'm currently searching for the channel lists and the such for the Southern States along the east coast of the united states. I am interested mostly in the channels of south florida and my area here in georgia. If you could please direct me a site with these things it would be much appreciated. Take remote,hit "menu",go to "installation" it's will pops "password",press 0000,next window hit on "Advanced Scan" then select bird Echo 7Ku press "OK" ,next window you will see : Down Frequency____ make 12253Mhz. Symbol Rate _____ make 20000 Polarity _________ make R Channel Name______ WJAN CA 41 Video ____________ Auto Audio_____________ Auto PCR ______________ Auto then press "OK" pansat will start to scan these TP (Transponder) you can leave channel name blank. Its will work 100%. Good Luck. |

Bronze Member Username: LeewKetchikan, ALASKA Post Number: 14 Registered: Jan-06 | Ok I see now yours problem, Echo 7 it's name of satellite.Same is Dish 119 W or EchoStar 119 W. To change polarities you have to use universal LNB ,and diseqc switch. It's depend what system you got. Maybe you have to adjust only receiver. |
