I recently hooked my rooftop UHF antenna to my ATSC input to receive local channels in HD. The reception is great - the antenna strength is anywhere between 94-100. The problem is whenever I attempt to watch one of these channels the TV locks up after about 5 minutes. At first, the remote buttons do not work. Then after a couple more minutes the sound cuts out. Then shortly after the screen goes blank. At this point the only thing that works is to turn the TV off and back on again. Once it comes back up, everything works fine again for about five minutes before it fails again. Does anybody have any ideas? Do I just have a faulty ATSC tuner?
By the way, this problem does not happen with any other inputs (digital cable, analog antenna, etc.).
