hi I just bought a Akai DLP from costco, just got 1 question when I turn off the TV, it doesnt turn off actually, it just goes to standby and the standby light is always on. is this how its suppose to be. or should it completley turn off when I press power button.
It's working correctly. The stand by light indicates power to the set and that is needed for the fan to properly cool the lamp down when you power off.

but the standby light never goes away. its always on even after the fan has turned off.
