I have a Dishpro dish on the roof with 2 LNBs (one for 110 and one for 119), all of a sudden I am not getting any 119s (local NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX etc.) Satellite didn't move no connections were changed, does anyone know how to fix it?
Check your cables, connections, disque switch and settings, scan the 119 again or use a Dish pro channel list, or reboot the receiver..
or we could all come over and do it for U...what have U done to fix it?

I have checked the cables. All other channels on the 110 are coming in it seems. Mostly its 119 on transponder 4 and 11 (in that area) So some PPV channels, p0rn channels and some others are out. Its a 301 receiver, with a dishpro 500 dish. I did notice that it was very slightly loose when I checked its alignment. By maybe 1 degree, I don't know if thats enough to throw it all off. It used to pick up all these channels just fine about 6 months ago. All I know how to do is the check switch option in the menus. Being that there is SO many transponders listed there, how do you know which one to use while aiming the dish?? Signals vary depending on which one you look at. Re-booting the receiver does nothing. I think it might be an aiming problem but I really don't know which transponder to be aiming it at here.
U should never have a LOOSE dish and alignment...yes 1 degree will lose the entire satellite..but plastic and 301's is another ball game than here..
This is primary a FTA forums..I suggest U use the Dishnet forums at dsscommunity.c*om, since U are using Dish with plastic on a 301 receiver..MANY good people knowledgeable in plastic and dishnet receivers there..

Help, I just bought a Digital Satellite Receiver VS2000 Platinum. I am getting good signal from 110 in the green, but 119 signal to the end but stays in the red. Shouldn't I get at least something from the 110 or did I burned in buying this receiver. Thanks to anyone who can help

Ok guys, I have checked into this a little further. I disconnected the main satellite cable and got a new short one and brought a TV upstairs near the dish. I disconnected it and noticed that there was a little discolouration on the cable output of the LNB. There is two outputs available, the other one looked like it was in good shape. BUT, when I took the dual LNB unit off the dish I noticed that there was water leaking out of it. Even with the new short cable, plugged into either output the result was still the same, not picking up the even transponders. Do you think that something within the LNB has shorted out with the water within it?? Does anyone think I am on the right track here with this? The satellite signal on the ODD transponders is strong so I don't think its a pointing issue.
