I recently got a Syntax Olevia LT26HVE 26" LCD HDTV-Ready TV. I have it hooked up to my Comcast Motorola DCT6412 digital set-top box with Component Cables.
For the most part the HD channels deliver an impressive picture, but I've noticed on a few occasions (especially on the ABC HD channel) that I'll get a sparkly visual feedback kind of thing that occurs on hair, sweat, thin-striped clothing, and some other fine details.
Does this problem sound like an issue with the fine tuning or something else?
Either way, if anyone out there has figured out the optimum tuning (brightness, contrast, etc.) for this TV, please post it.
Also, I've got the cable box outputting at 720p with the 4:3 override set to 480i. Does that sound right?
