hey ppl, a happy new year 2 uall, i have a question and im hopin i can find some answers and help here, anways here it goes, i have a new LG DVD Recorder, A Foxtel Digital Box and A big LG TV, and iv hooked it all up and i thought all was fine.... though once iwent to record, it seems i cant record in HD quality,it drops the quality down to SD which is very noticeable and it defeats the whole purpose of why i spent 500buks on the recorder in the first place... my current hook up is: Foxtel, RCA Cables out and into the TV and DVD Recorder, and an old RF cable out into the tv also (though im not sure if this does anything, or it may be the problem...)
any help with hooking up cable TV to a DVD/HDD recorder and TV would b apreciated, n 1 last question could this problem be solved by purchasing component cables or an S-Video cable???
