here is the scenario: i have a panasonic DMR-es20 dvd recorder (brand new can be returned if necessary) i also have the motorola dual tuner HD Dvr STB with comcast digital cable.
i would like to: record on-demand programming to my dvd recorder. is this possible? it comes in on channel 01 on the STB.
if not, can i record other channels from digital cable to my DVD recorder? i don't necessarily have to be watching something else.
also, anyone using the Niles IR repeater? just got it and it's brilliant. all components in the garage. no wires or unsightly boxes exposed anywhere.
