I bought my girlfriend a dvd player for xmas. I cannot get it to work.
the tv has only one connection avaliable. ( 1 male )
I bought a rv cable? the one with red, yellow and white. The video player has only audio connections avliable so the white has no where to go and does not fit into the tv.. been stumped for days.. am i missing something very basic here
sounds like the input is only coax. If there is no coax output on the DVD, go to radio shack and ask them for a RCA adaptor. Just tell them what you need, they will help you out.
The r/w/y = RCA cords. red for right audio, white for left audio, yellow for video.
Coax carries all 3 siganls in one wire, but is usually found on older model TVs as the only source of input.
