Hi! I hope this is the correct forum for this, I have a question about cable. I work at a station where I live at work a week at a time and to help pass the hours, my wife bought me a small tv for xmas. It's brand spankin' new and cable ready. At the station here we have TVs with cable in every room but mine. I want to split off from somewhere and connect my new TV to the cable. What I'm wondering is, if screen quality isn't a huge issue, can I use one of those little $25 splitters from Radio Shack? Where in the line should I connect it...will I need a box?
I'm looking to do this on the cheap and on the sly as I don't want my boss getting a bill for an additional cable hookup.
