I have just hooked up my new DVD recorder (LG RH 7823W) to my TV - viewing t thru my AV1 channel.
I have my old LG VCR/DVD combo player running thru AV2 channel.
I found this site when looking for codes to make the dvd reorder region free and am happy to say the 7x0 code works great !!
BUT
The remote for the new dvd recorder seems to have also taken control of the old dvd/vcr combo. If I press "On" - it turns the new unit on - and ejects both the tape and disc from the old unit !
Obviously I want the two units to work independently of each other. Any clues or hints ? I am not techo minded so anything in plain clear instructions would be greatfully recieved !
