Gold Member Username: Thill1951akalkPost Number: 1172 Registered: Oct-05 | For All Pansats -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Press menu button on your remote: #1 Go to parental control... #2 Go down to "second pin" option & enter 0000 #3 Then go to nagravision and select it by pressing ok button on your remote... #4 In Nagravision window you should be in the box that is Entitled "Provider ID"...scroll to the right (press right arrow button on remote) until it switches to Dishnetwork (00 01) #5 Now In Nagravision window go down (press down arrow on remote) to the box that contains "00" entitled "Key Number" #6 While in the box (highlighted "Key Number") that contains "00", scroll to the right until you see nagravision 2 at the top left of your screen #7 While in Nagravision2 you should still be in "Key Number" box and the number in that same box should be "00"...this is for Key 00 #8 Scroll down (press down arrow on remote) to key data and enter the new supplied key for 00 (within this site is the key change for Nagravision2)..take note on how to enter letters in the lower portion of the screen (ex. letter E=FAV button on remote) #9 Once key is edited select OK button on your remote (OK-STORE confirmation blinks twice in lower right of screen) #10 go back to the "00" box and move one click to the right which should take you to "01"..this is to edit the "01" key #11 Follow Steps 8 & 9 above (this time enter key data for key 01 instead of 00) #12 Click exit and click ok or yes to save changes then exit all the way out and you should be watching tv Note...For /Bell keys at step #4, "Provider ID" is 09 - 01 |

Enter 8282 with remote as if choosing channel to open CAS Menu Use volume up and down button on remote to scroll to Nagravision ( Dish Network Provider Ident 0001 ) Use channel up and down button on remote to scroll to different Key Slot IDs and Key Slots. Enter the keys . Use the Info button for letters A-F . Press it once for A , twice for B , Etc and channel number key pad for number entries Or you can press OK and it will open a Keyboard selection type menu to enter keys. You will see the following Key Slots: 10 Key 11 key 20 Key 21 Key Post Edit: After testing I can confirm the bin editor will write to the bin with revised super bin version 1.0 and 1.1. The key slots used for N2 keys is the key slots 10 and 11. Tests of all 4 slots in various combinations reveal 20 and 21 slots have no bearing on signal decryption and correct keys must be inserted in the 10 slot for 00 key and 11 slot for 01 keys. I will note the bin will load the 00 and 01 keys duplicated within the 10 and 11 slots also appearing in the 20 and 21 slots. When key change is complete, Press Exit and confirm key change save. basically ..Idea key 0 on 10-11 lines, and Idea key 1 input into 20-21 lines. |

Gold Member Username: Thill1951akalkPost Number: 1176 Registered: Oct-05 | Viewsat lines 08 and 09 hold Idea key 1 and 88 and 89 hold Idea key 0...all 4 lines must have the correct keys to receive all the channels.. A N2 key now is 32 bytes divided into two string lines of 16 bytes each. The idea key 0 goes into lines 08 and 09 in the code option and idea key 1 goes into lines 88 and 89 in the code option. As with N1 encryption, usually one idea key is active and the other is not. If you know the active key but unsure if it is the 0 key or 1 key, you can enter the key twice, repeating the 08 and 09 entries in 88 and 89 lines. This is not recommended as we see dish will run two active keys at one time. |

How to change the NAGRA2 Key codes (for Fortec Lifetime Ultra only) 1- Press Menu button on your remote control 2- Press right arrow key 2 times Channel Edit 3- Press down arrow key button 2 times, press OK (Code) enter 1010 4- Press the down arrow key to Set Default Key, click OK 5- Press the up arrow key to Nagravision click OK 6- On your top left you should see Nagravision-1...if not, then you've got the wrong BIN version. 7- Press right arrow key until you see Dish Network on top 8- Press the down arrow key once to Key Number 9- Press right arrow key 2 times the from Key Number 00 - 01 - 00 ( Now take notice that on your top left you should see Nagravision-2 now ) 10- Then press DOWN button key to change the keys manually on Key Number 00 11- Enter new Keycode, do the same procedure to enter the the keys on Key Number 01 Note: Satellite Providers changes the stream key codes unpredictably, (Note: remote control key letters equivalent) A = Sat, B = i, C = Tv/Radio, D = Pause, E = Audio (speaker), F = EPG 12- Check and make sure that you got all the keys....Press OK to store (save) 13- Press EXIT key 3 times to exit to the channels. Connecting all the RCA cable from the TV to the receiver, and connect RG-6 Cable to the receiver, then Plug in power cord on the receiver. 2. You should see the Language Menu on the TV screen, select English. 3. "CAS SYSTEM" set up, just following the 3A, 3B and 3C steps 3A). Press menu, scroll down to select Parental Control then press OK. 3B). Scroll down to PIN #2, then enter you 4 digits password. If you enter correct PW, it will take you into the CAS SYSTEM menu windown. 3C). In the CAS SYSTEM menu, scroll down to SET DEFAULT KEY, then press OK. Then exit to main menu page. In the future; if you have to edit the Dishnet key, just following the step #3 to get into the CAS SYSTEM menu, to edit the key go here Here is how to update key with a screen shoot 4. From the MAIN MENU: selecting INSTALLATION then Antenna setup Option. These are my dish set up and DiSeqC multi switch configuration; DiSeqC #1 Echo8.6/Ku 110W, DiSeqC #2 Echo7/Ku at 119W Satellite: ECHO 6,8(110) Lnb type-Standard Lo freq-11250 22khz-OFF DiseqC-#1 Skew: O TP: leave it as is Positioner-Disable. Satellite: ECHO 7(119) Lnb type-Standard Lo freq-11250 22khz-OFF DiseqC-#2 Skew: O TP: leave it as is Positioner-Disable. 5. Check the signal and Quality level highest as you can (adjust the dish slightly to improve the signal strength). If you get no quality level on transponders, try others before giving up, because not all TPs are transmitting, if nesscery Re-aim your dish still not getting any quality signal 6. Press the Exit button, press OK to save setting, the back to the Main Menu 7. Go back to the Installation Menu 8. Goto SATELLITE SCAN or BLIND SCAN, press OK, select the satellite to scan. you have to scan all the satellites have, once it complete, you should be able to watching TV |

Gold Member Username: Thill1951akalkPost Number: 1201 Registered: Oct-05 | Manually entering Orasat keys -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MANUALLY ENTERING KEYS TO ORASAT 5 From any channel enter 6969 and then hit the blue key. Not in the menu. The first two lines will be for bev keys. Whatever the index numbers are reenter and then put the keys in. I did this and still don't get the bev. Others say they do. For DN print out or write down the old keys and the new keys. Depending on what bin you are using you will look below and see what lines the old keys were. DN was line 3 to 8 on my 113 bin. On the 113 bin I was using it was line 5 and 6. Then enter the new keys in those lines. Don't do like I did at first and put 00 and 01 in for the index Put in 10 and 20 or whatever it says. I also put in the channel list but still had to scan the sats to get it to come down. But with favorites it ain't no big deal. Never have been able to get a channel list to work. But after the scan of the sats I get all on dn. Hope this helps someone. |

Gold Member Username: Thill1951akalkPost Number: 1202 Registered: Oct-05 | how to manualy change Bev keys ...Orasat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- as i promised, here you go..... while watching tv, keys in 6969 takes you to cas menu; for BEV and DN press blue key on remote to take you in.... the first 2 lines(1&2) for BEV. for example the index 00 EE 33 44 55 AA 66 77 88 01 BB AA EE 44 CC 66 77 88 is outdated and the current keys are 00 AE C9 B3 02 6A 2A 2D A2 01 0E 5E F4 E2 FA 13 8F 7F to change it to the current keys, just goto index 00, press ok, use volume keys and channel keys to get to 0, hit ok, and just repeat the process til done then hit ok to save it. move to index 01 and do the same, are you guys feeling better now? on Dishnet, I recommend not to touch it, not because of screw it up but for the coding dept continue to release update software and still have a job, sound reasonable? just remind you guys the above example is just for info.. |

Gold Member Username: Thill1951akalkPost Number: 1213 Registered: Oct-05 | For Those that have ViewSat and are having problem with the new Dishnet keys...here's the answer. press menu then - installation code is 0000 or 0937 then go to--code then go to- nagra at nagra Dish 01 01 00 00- B4 ED 24 E3 BC C1 82 69 ???? maybe old Naga1 keys 08--AF 0C BD 48 D8 51 6D DC ...Idea key 0 09--FE 44 D6 0C A3 6E 59 42 ............. 88--FB D9 F2 D9 D6 C9 EF 7A ...Idea key 1 89--57 AD 32 24 67 42 6C E6 ............. Simply put DN idea key 0 into 08-09, and put Idea key 1 into 88-89.... If you don't fix the problem changing the keys is because your version is developing an error as soon as you change slot 08 and 09...in this case install v1024 (.pgm) using loader 2.
