Anonymous | Hi, I've got an RS-232 serial cable but don't know if it's a straight or corssover one. I would like to use it with a fortec utla receiver. What I want to know is that if I use this cable with thsi receiver and it turns out it's the wrong cable, would it do any harm to the receiver? I searched on this forum to try and find an answer to my question before posting but without any success. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this. Thanks! |

Anonymous | Thank you so much! I think I am all set to start this process. I have read the latest threads about uploading bin files to fortec ultra, but just has a small question. Some of the threads mention setting default keys, and others do not mention anything about this such as thoese ones https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/home-video/173994.html https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/home-video/117125.html |
