My Sony HCD-S300 system doesn't like to play burnt media and I'd really like it to. I'm a complete newb when it comes to this stuff, so I could use some help. I haven't even bought a DVD burner yet, so if that makes a difference please let me know. So anyway, do I have to use certain media, or do I need to update the firmware or something? I've done Google searches and looked on these forums but I can't find anything for this particular model. I'd appreciate any help you can give. Thanks! :D
I've yet to see a DVD player that won't play Taiyo Yuden or Prodiscs done on my NEC burner. I've sent discs to well over 50 people, maybe closer to 100, no one has ever said they won't play.
