I've tried it on my old 301 and I don't know what it is, but I get fatal error 15-30 minutes after watching TV, my friend's 2800 however has been working without crashing for over 4 hours now.

It's not easy to set-up....all previews, titles and date and time right but no picture or sound.

On some 301's yes, but I've already seen 2700, 2800 and 3900 work without a problem.

Tried this, but get PREVIEW Channels, all others are black, and NO Audio. Note: there is NO CAM ID in this sfw...so, don't know how you guys are making it work...?

They provided absolutely no info on the carder, I wasn`t even sure I had one til I took off the cover. Thanks alot. I mean to get an old DN 2700 up and running.

If you can't get a woman, go right ahead, DN's 5 channels is more than enough.

how to make your 2700-2800 work,,no matter what build config

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

no matter what your build config is this should work.

1-back up tsop and eeprom with flash edit

2-go to flash programming in jkeys and earse SA5

3-restream ird to ensure you have latest firmware for your ird

4-use jtag to save the tsop from updated ird with jkeys

5-open the updated flash in the new flash edit 2.1 beta

6-click on the apply script button at the bottom

7-change ird number and boxkeys to match those on the rom 10 to rom 101 script

8-save the file with the save as button,,take note of where it is

9-jtag ird again with jkeys,,earse entire flash and rewrite with the flash you just created.

10-put your programmed rom 10 cam in,,and watch tv

I am on Win2k, and it seems that no matter which hex editor I use, (I tried 3) when I try to "save as" once I complete the changes, windows lets me make a name, but file type only allows me to SAVE AS *.*, there is no *.bin extension, so I am unable to see the newly created file from jkeys 2.1...any assist appreciated...thanks...

@Anonymous

Save the file with any extension hex editor allows, then just rename the file to .bin .
