I'm hooking up a digital cable box & dvd/vcr combo to a plasma tv. I can watch a DVD in my PIP but can't get two tv stations at the same time. My TV doesn't seem to be reading my VCR for some reason. I've plugged AV cables from the back of the VCR into the AVI on the TV but nothing. When I did get PIP I had the same channel on both pics. Thanks.
You can only have 1 digital channel at a time, unless you have a dual tuner box, if they make them. So your PIP will have to be an analog channel. Split the incoming cable to the VCR and the box, then autoprogram the channels on the VCR. You'll be able to use the analog channels for PIP.
