Is it just me or since the charlie fiasco last night, when we came back up did anyone else notice that the EPG is faster getting and displaying info, and that the channels seem to change faster as well?

@Tom Joe2

Did you load a channel list? If you did, try a blindscan instead.

Tom...The subject was 'EPG faster ?" here..U don't even have EPG,so don't hijack and steal someboady 's thread and get it OFF the subject...post in a thread about Pantec.

Better yet read and follow this thread linked!

Keeping the threads within the subject sure makes it alot easier for everyone to find their answers...as U know,many sites will delete posts or ban people who hijack threads..thats is a big and commonproblem here...there are a million threads in the ARCHIVES that are useful but because people don't stay on topic,this info eventually goes to the archives..

Personally I see no difference in EPG speed..but I have watched very little TV also..

@thill1951,

This thread is about EPG and I have problem with my EPG (obviousely you also need to have a reciever - any kind - to get EPG !!!!)

Tomm..I was nice enough to give U a dirct link to where U can get Pantec help...so don't start in with me for U hijacking this thread...the "is your EPG faster?" subject is a large stretch from your problem of someone who NEVER even had EPG,nevermind faster due to key change or whatever happenned last night..do U have a problem with that logic?

This is good for all the systems Power of and disconnects the power cable for 5 minutes.

Power back on and wait. If doesn't work reload the bin and wait

A simple reboot/reset of the receiver should always be done after any changes to the receiver (new flash,bin upload etc)or whenever any problem occurs...it solves many problems,but not all..

BACK of receiver, power off, wait 2 minutes, power on, turn to channel 300

Slohand,
I noticed in another thread you had changed around your setup yesterday maybe that has something to do with your EPG being faster. My Pansat and Viewsat still seem the same.
