I purchased a 27" RCA Guide+Plus about 5 years ago. Didn't know what it meant, just liked the price. In recent date, aforementioned TV took a dive from about 4 feet up on an entertainment center. Not good. It showed the occasional "rainbow" and turned off. The "free-estimate" guys are looking at it now, but I fear the diagnosis. I have $200 to spend. No more. None the less, I've come to realize how much I loved Guide+Plus!! I don't have cable or satt, and GP+ Rocked!!! I've found a GP RCA at a local pawnshop and am willing to buy the used 19" to replace the bedroom TV (old, but works) and have $150 to buy a used 27" and still have GP+ in the apartment, be it in the backroom. Question is, will GuidePlus+ still be broadcast over the next few years or am I getting hung up on something that will be "phased out" anyway?
