At 173 lbs I would assume it's not a dlp set,etc. Was just online trying to find some parts for it... couldn't find really much of anything in the way of parts, Did find one site with a "Sony" link, when I clicked on it it said item no longer made... or something to that effect.... So I assume it IS crt based. If it's a CRT based set... There are 3 of them... I would think they are $400 to $600 a piece... and then you have to fiqure in the labor to change /align the CRTS which isn't going to be "cheap". If it's NOT a crt based set, and the set is indeed damaged it's not going to be cheap to replace the light engine either.
