grivas Unregistered guest | I've seen a lot of different products and cable conversion to connect a PC to an HDTV (external boxes that convert RGB to component, DVI to HDMI conversion cables, internal cards that output DVI, etc.). I was going to convert a DVI output to HDMI (my Sony accepts HDMI, component, s-video and composite - just my luck the other 50" LCD projection they make has a damned RGB input) and I just want to make sure there is no inherent risk to the TV. I don't mind if I have to spend and play to make it work, but I certainly don't want to damage anything in the process. Any input/suggestions? Btw, from here I'm thinking I can use the TV as a big monitor and eventually use the PC as a DVR. thanks |
