I've had my HK DVD50 since 2002 with absolutely no problems. I bought a disc last week - "run down" starring the Rock (like this matters!) and after I put that disc in it f*@ked up my DVD player. It now tells me that all my discs are not compatible with the player. My DVD player also reset it's presets back to factory.
Sometimes if I am lucky, a DVD will play for about 10 minutes then it "hick-ups" similar to playing streaming video that does not have a large enough buffer
I was looking into multi-region hacks to see if I made it code free , if that would solve the problem. Additionally I have ordered the firmware upgrade from HK.
Just wondering if anyone out there has had the same problem and solution
