I,m considering a NAD 532, but had a friend suggest a Cambridge Audio 540 Azur. Anyone familiar with this unit. Keep in mind I don't use my player for CD's, as I have a dedicated transport for the audio CD format. Thanks in advance for any/all suggestions. Let's keep budget to say $500 MSRP. |

I intend to try to write something specifically about the T533 and DVD-A later today. I am not sure where to file it. DVD-A. Cambridge Audio azur 540D, NAD T533...? DVD-A recommendation I will be particularly interested in any views you can form about DVD-Audio. Doubtless you will protest, but, if you get a DVD-Audio player, I predict you will see CD in a completely new way: It is a convenience format, like MP3. Some of us analogue and LP affectionados were always suspicious. DVD-Audio proves it. DVD-Audio |

The short answer is that the NAD T532 is an excellent DVD-Video player. The NAD T533 is essentially the same, but with the addition of component video out, and DVD-Audio. |
