New dvd player

The HD content is unbelivable. Is there a dvd player out there that can emulate the picture quality of HD? will an upconverting dvd player work?

It has an upconversion to 720p/1080i and a progressive scan. I purchased it a few months ago and I have been completly satisfied with its performance.

I used a DVI to HDMI adaptor in order to get around this and found that the picture was not affected in any way. Cheers!
