I have a Symphonic DVD player with video cassette recorder (WF802), and DVDs play O.K. But the DVD is also supposed to play audio CDs. The first time I tried playing one, it worked fine. Since then I can see that a track is playing, but there is no sound. I checked the audio setting, all set to default. It's supposed to automatically select the playing mode. But the problem occurs whether I play a store-bought CD or a custom-burned one. Any ideas?
When i put a dvd in, it doesn't always play; the screen remains blue and there is a small icon of a disc in the upper right corner w/ a semi-circle on each side. any idea what i am doing wrong?
I have a Symphonic DVD player in fact I have 2 and they are in different rooms and all of a sudden at the same time they wont play the dvds they say disc error dvd may not have playback feature.what can I do or is my machine toast?

I bought a Symphonic DVD VCR combo (WF803) last night. I tried to check if it plays DVD/CD-audio/VCR, but occasionally ther is no sound while playing any media. Then it restored with stopping and replaying several times. I will go for returning this product.
