for a home cinema, wot would be the best visual source?? projector, lcd, lcos, rear projection or plasma?? wot are the pros and cons of using a projector?

Well, when using a projector you would have to always turn down your lights and/or dim the room. un less you have a high lum. projector. Bulbs have to be changed often (depending on usage). but since your using it for home tv viewing you'll be using it alot. Also projectors' fans make noise when on. you have to place it in the right position for good viewing. For a good res. and good lum. projector expect to spend a pretty penny.

pros= well you get that "theater feeling" and look.
imho get a 70" rp lcd. You'll get a "theater experience" without the fp hassle. I think sony has the only 1 but its not PC compatible. if money is no object mits has a 82" lcos with stunning pq. with fp and rp lcd, they both require bulb replacement.
