I have rogers digatal cable and an older tv. I am hooking up a progressive scan dvd player to it now and i don't know how

If the TV has s-video or RCA jacks, use them. If not you need an RF modulator.

Same as megan - I'm hooked up but no picture! Sound ok - do I hook up thru Comcast Cable box or straight to TV? Help

Most cable boxes DONT have an input except for some DVR cable boxes. If you dont have the RCA or S-cable in on your tv you should get a Rf modulator and hook it right to your tv.You can get these at alot of stores even wall-mart
