I just bought and installed a P42LV6 monitor. Everything is ok with tv reception. When I plug in my computer at resolution 1024 x 768 60Hz the letters are cut and the image is not so good. I tried both vga and dvi cables with no result. The same result with different graphic card or with another computer. When I try to resolution 800x600 everything is ok but is not use because the DVR program that I use works only at 1024 x 768. Is it a problem of the monitor? The manual says that can play 1024 x 768 60Hz.

The actual resolution of this display is 852*480, with square pixels to give best quality at 16:9 Using resolutions higher than this will suffer loss of quality due to pixel mapping. Due to this it is not HDTV compatible, but so few plasma screens are due to the very high cost for 720 => 1280 x 720 for 1080 => 1920 x 1080
