Can I save Closed Captions when going from VHS to DVD?

I tried to post this before but it didn't make it?

I am using an Xpert DVD Maker USB to take VHS to my computer and working with Power Producer 2 Gold to burn. I'm not finding the CC. Have I lost it (the CC)?
