Without having the cable company come out and but a "new" cable outlet, how do I make the cable line I have longer? Can I use just a 2 way splitter and continue the line from there or will I lose picture quality? Also, is this where the "inline amplifier" comes in or is that different? Thanks in advance...
You don't need a splitter, you can buy a connecter threaded on both ends for extending cable runs. I don't know what they are called, but I'm sure you can get them at Radio Shack.
