I've never had HD before but now I'm signing up for Dish Network with HD receivers. The Toshiba has 480p/1080i DTV 3-jack inputs labeled 'Y CB CR'. The HD receivers from Dish have component video outputs which are labeled 'Y PR PB'. I wanted to make sure these would be compatible. After searching on the net I've read that they often used interchangeably but I've also ready that the yprpb is for analog applications while the ycbcr is digital applications. Thanks in advance for any info on this. |

Should tell you what inputs accept what. BTW: I don't think they had digital inputs 7 years ago. I have a Toshiba 57H81 (New Jan 2002) that has component inputs.. works just fine. |
