I have a new Diamond 65" CRT. Beautiful hi-def, however the top of the image is cut off. It does this with over-air or cable reception. If you watch a ballgame and the score is posted on the top of the screen, it is completely cut-off. Any suggestions.
If you have a 4:3 set, you may experience this on HD programming which is generally broadcast in the 16:9 format. Play with your settings and determine which is more acceptable to you.
All displays have some intentional and necessary overscan since all the lines do not contain useful video data. You display seems to have too much overscan. This is normally an internal service menu adjustment. You either need a service call, a copy of the service manual and big balls or someone on the forum to explain how to enter the service menu on your model of display and even bigger balls.
