New member Username: Mg1982Post Number: 2 Registered: Jun-05 | I was wondering when do the new Sony Wega televisions come out? The replacement to the Sony 'KDF60xs955' 60 Inch LCD? How long has this television been out in the market? I'm in Canada and i'm Currently deciding betweem the New Samsung '61 inch DLP "HLR6167W" and the Sony 61 inch LCD "KDF60XS955". I know Samsung just recently released the 'HLR6167W' and greatly improved the contrast ratio from the older models. I'm thinking the newer Sony when it comes out will be imporved also. Thankz Guys |
KLAUSS Unregistered guest | The KDF60XS955 is a much better set than the HLR6167W . dlp offers ghosts, rainbows, clay face, fan and color wheel noise. |

All (3) recommend , and prefer the LCD technology, as do I. LCD had fewer problems with critical program material compared to DLP. DLP: Bright blacks (Blue tint background) "Dirty-screen" effect (fixed-pattern noise) rainbows, color wheel noise, fan noise, clay face, smudging. tvtalker Unregistered guest | Has anyone seen the new Sony KDF E55 or 60 A20 yet? It has the new Iris that is supposed to deepen the blacks so much so that it is neck and neck to any other technology? It is available on line but I do not believe that any stores have one. Thanks |
