Could someone lend their advice about playing dvd-rs with labels applied to them. All the manuals I've seen suggest NOT using labels of any kind on dvds. I do so all the time with cds/cd players and I'd like to feel confident about using them on the dvds I have made of my vhs collection, especially in my $600 recorder.
Are dvd players more sensitive to labels? Or is this just a warning meant to avoid the problems people encounter when using labels that are not meant for cd/dvd use and/or labels that are applied improperly?
