I have just bought a DVD to connect to an older TV in my daughters bedroom. I now realise there is no video or audio sockets on the TV. I can connect the audio via her amp to provide sound but can I connect the DVD to the coaxial the same as I would a VCR? HELP

No. RF Modulator. Try Walmart, Sears, or Radio Shack to name a few.

Thanks Dale, I'll find an equivalent store here in Oz and hope they have one!

Dale(or anyone), If I could pick your brain a little further please. I bought an RF modulator and followed instructions to set up but get no response from the DVD on the TV. IF my TV is not a UHF, and I think it may not be, does it make a different/ bigger problem? Though the RFM has a screw for tuning neither the TV or the DVD appear to do so. I shouldn't have these problems at 68 years old but I guess I'm lucky eh?

Did you set the TV on whatever channel the modulator uses? In the U.S. it's 3 or 4.
