I have a DirectTV HD-DVR box (Hughes I guess) that has a 2 tuner input, so you can watch one channel, and record another. The problem of course is that my loft is only wired with a single cable outlet. Will a coaxial splitter work and profide adequate signal for simulataneous viewing and recording? My guess is that the DirectTV guy will say no, but is this really the case?
