What I am using now is a NEC MultiSync LCD 1535M which is aleast 5 years old if not older. I have always played games on it and I have never nothiced any ghosting and/or bleeding, but I do not know what the pixel response time is on my current monitor as it is not listed in the manual and I can't find any info/specs online that says anything about pixel response time. I am guessing that my current monitor being that it is older can't be better in pixel response time to the Norcent 17in. Widescreen LCD HDTV Monitor, so the newer Norcent 17" Widescreen LCD HDTV Monitor has to better then my current monitor? Unless monitors are different in how they perform?

25ms is the least you want on an LCD for TV/movie watching, muchless for gaming. Norcent is a cheap newcomer brand, they are third on the highest return rates in the industry for flat panels.
Have you consider LG, Samsung or any other brand?

25ms is really bad for gaming. At that slow of response, you will notice LOTS of ghosting effects. 16ms is even bad. You want at MAX a 12ms response time.
