I know a variation of this has been answered about 142 million times, but I REALLY need help: I need to hook up my old TV, RF modulator, DVD/VCR combo, and Playstation. I would really love it if I could get all the sound through my new (and therefore modern) receiver. Help? I have tried every combination possible w/ the coaxial cables w/ no luck. I haven't even gotten as far as the receiver yet. Oh, please help! If my daughter can't watch Barbie Fairytopia soon, I'm a dead woman!
Use one set of av cables (usually colored red, white and yellow for audio and video respectively) and connect to av output of DVD and av input of receiver. Connect dedicated Playstation cable to another av input on receiver. Other end should be attached to Playstation. Connect receiver av output via av cable to RF modulator and modulator to tv antenna input. Power up and put tv on either channel 3 or 4. Select appropriate component from receiver.
