Okay, a friend gave me an older y.v. made in '97 and it only has the cable jacks on it. Well i tried to hook my xbox to it and it works but when the picture goes black it goes to a scrambled looking screen with audio, then goes back to normal when the color is back....well that stopped( i was using a plug in chord) so i went out and bought an RCA adapter to hook my dvd player up to it. . . you know a/v cabbles to adapter, cable chord to tv. well i get a scrabled screen, bot the black and white snow, but just bars and colors with audio. is it my tv or is something not hooked up correct?
