You can hook up diff kinds of dishes to an normal receiver that takes p4 or p5? P4 - P5 is DTV . Only receiver that works is a DTV receiver . Do not know about DTV , but some people that subscribe to DN have to have more than one dish to pick up the channels they are subscribed to . They have stuff spread out over more sats than DTV . Also , some of DN's stuff is on linear Ku sats , even though most is on circular Ku sats . So the answer is no , not necessarily . Unregistered guest | I have a problem,hopefully one of you guys can help me (lk) I purchase the Fortec Star Lifetime ultra and i did all the other steps; channel edit, put in the password change the naragavison to dishnetwork and entered the lastest key and saved all of that. Then i stated to scan 119 and i got some channels but most of them are saying scrambled or bad channel and i scan 110 and got only radio station, is there something that i am doing wrong or is it just like that, alot of help or suggestion would be helpful. thanks |

Anonymous | We just got a Fortec Ultra. We got good signals for Nimiq 1 (91) AND Echostar 6/8 (110) BUT when we downloaded the channels we got all the 91 ones but all the 110 ones come up encrypted or bad channel. We have tried several times to reprogram but nothing works. Any suggestions?? |
