I am trying to hook up my dual tuner DVR, DVD player, and TV to my receiver. The receiver has to video conections. I have the dvd to the cable box, cable box to tv, tv to the receiver in the tv spot, and the dvd into the video, i can get the dvr to work and the tv, but the DVD player doesnt work.

I recently switched from Satellite to Comcast. Is it possible to use the DVR with Cable and if so, how to connect it. It will play what was recorded on the hard drive but cannot get it to record.
