Hi, I have a Sanyo DVD/VHS combo. The DVD player tray will not open. As far as I know there is no disc currently in the tray and it does make a mechicnal noise when the open button is pushed (however the noise sounds normal, nothing odd about it). Any ideas what I can try to get the tray to open?

hey im having the same problem!!! I have a philips 726/17 dvd player, the tray won't open and i guess philips doesn't do repairs, so my year old dvd player is going to be trash unless i can fix this myself. Help please!! I found online that its dry joints on front switch panel at S626 and S619 do you know where that is? or how to get rid of it! Thanks for the help!
