I have a Toshiba SD-2109 Dvd Player I bought about 5 years ago. It was around $400 at the time. It works great but I'm not sure if it has progressive scan built in or not. I just bought a Sony 57 HDTv #57wx520 Projection TV. Does this have Progressive scan Technology built in. Do I need a new DVD Player with Progressive scan to get the best picture quality with my new TV? I am also thinking of buying a new receiver for my setup. I already have a good set of Energy Take 5 speakers, so I was not sure if Receivers have Progressive scan built in either. Any answers would be Great. Thanks
